Grumbles to Receive the Allan K. Fleeger Distinguished Service Award

We are pleased to announce Thomas Grumbles, CIH, CPPS, FAIHA as the 2021 recipient of the Allan K. Fleeger Distinguished Service Award. Tom is the third recipient of this award, which was established in 2018 and named after the Society’s first president. It recognizes the invaluable contributions made by a product steward to support the growth and success of the Product Stewardship Society and the product stewardship profession.

Tom served on the Product Stewardship Society’s Board of Directors from its inception in 2014, culminating with his term as President from 2016-2017. During his Board service, he established the Society’s Education Committee, serving as its first Chair, and is also an author of the Professional Practices of Product Stewardship. He currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, supporting the new Certified Professional Product Steward (CPPS) credential.

Grumbles will be presented with the Alan K. Fleeger Distinguished Service Award at PSX 2021, September 28-30 in Anaheim, California. To learn more about the award criteria and selection process, visit the awards and recognition page.
