Things to do in Anaheim while attending PSX 2021

Anaheim offers plenty of attractions for adventure seekers and foodies alike. Here are a few must-see places to add to your list.

Anaheim GardenWalk

Anaheim GardenWalk is an outdoor entertainment hub within the Anaheim Resort District, where you can find a variety of dining and nightlife spots, as well as games arcades, and a concert venue. Art lovers can take part in the free Art on the Walk program, which features window displays, art installations, and murals by more than 30 local artists. Live art demonstrations and seasonal exhibits are also held here.

Anaheim Packing District

The Anaheim Packing District consists of a farmer’s park and 3 buildings housing a variety of restaurants, cafés, breweries, and wine bars. Here, you will find the Anaheim Packing House, once a 2-story citrus packing warehouse dating back to 1925. Nowadays, it’s a gourmet food hall with 20 eclectic food options, ranging from Indian and Vietnamese to French and Italian.

Yorba Regional Park

In the mouth of the Santa Ana Canyon is Yorba Regional Park, a park that stretches out over 140 acres and captures perfectly the Santa Ana River that runs alongside the park. There are over 400 picnic tables within the park and many of them are in the shade, perfect for a peaceful afternoon. The best part: there are four lakes and streams in the area, which make a great opportunity for a couple of hours of fishing (or just sitting and enjoying the sound of water).

Oak Canyon Nature Center

This beautiful place, with a stream that runs through yearlong and the three adjoining canyons, is a great way to get back to nature. If hiking is your thing, then four miles of hiking trails are waiting to be discovered by you. These trails cross one of the few remaining areas of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub in the region. Careful not to miss the John J. Collier Interpretive Center, a small museum that is various live animal and natural history exhibits, located on-site.

Anaheim Brewery

A 9-minute walk from the Anaheim Convention Center makes Anaheim Brewery a perfect place to unwind and catch up with friends. Anaheim Brewery is a revived pre-Prohibition brewery, with a small Tasting Room and a large Beer Garden. “Proudly unhip”, they brew fresh beer with an emphasis on European styles. Kick back in the shade of the Beer Garden and savor an Anaheim 1888, based on the style of beer brewed at the original Anaheim Brewery over 100 years ago.
