Product Stewardship Society Announces New Board Member Appointment

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (December 16, 2020) — The Product Stewardship Society announced today the appointment of its newest Board Member, Lisa Marie Nespoli, CPPS, who officially joined the board in November.
Nespoli joined the Product Stewardship Society in 2016 and has since played an active role in the association. She is also part of the inaugural class of Certified Professional Product Stewards.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lisa Marie to the Product Stewardship Society Board of Directors,” said Lynn L. Bergeson, President of the Product Stewardship Society. “Lisa Marie’s deep knowledge, vast experience, and tremendous commitment to the profession add a new dimension to the Board’s deliberations and will be very valuable in achieving our objectives in the years to come.”
Prior to joining the Board of Product Stewardship Society, Nespoli chaired the American Chemistry Council (ACC) Product Stewardship Committee, the group responsible for the establishment of the ACC Responsible Care Product Safety. Over the years, she has promoted the value of product stewardship to various audiences, from students to regulators standard-setting organizations.
Nespoli is currently Manager of Product Safety and Stewardship for Covestro, LLC, where she is responsible for overseeing and implementing their global corporate product stewardship programs.
