Tina Armstrong, Ph.D. is a Principal Scientist and Vice President at the global consultancy firm, Arcadis, co-leading the product stewardship technical practice, as well as a Global Health Affiliated Professor at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she co-teaches Product Stewardship Strategy and Management. With more than 20 years of experience in product stewardship, Dr. Armstrong has recently been assisting her clients as they navigate the changing business conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing both on the development and compliance of her clients’ new products to address pandemic concerns, as well as the informed selection of products to help her clients return their employees to their workplaces safer.
Jon Hellerstein, CIH, CSP is a career environmental health professional who has practiced in the Hazard Communication, Product Stewardship, and Sustainability disciplines for about 35 years. Mr. Hellerstein is Manager of Product Stewardship at a privately held global manufacturer of polyols and polyurethane foam products. As a career EH&S professional experienced in serving industry or government agencies, Mr. Hellerstein has developed product stewardship programs for fibrous glass, advanced composites, building materials, paperboard, plastics, and multi-material packaging for food, cosmetics, healthcare, drugs, medical devices, toys, and consumer product companies. He received a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health in 1980. He maintains Board Certifications as a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional. Mr. Hellerstein has served on the Board of Directors of the Product Stewardship Society and has co-authored chapters in the Professional Practices of Product Stewardship (2018). Mr. Hellerstein also maintains an academic appointment on the faculty of IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.
Louise Proud leads the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) program for Pfizer Inc. Ms. Proud has more than 25 years of professional EHS experience and holds specialties in health and safety and occupational hygiene. Prior to joining Pfizer, Ms. Proud was a health and safety consultant and held a dual consulting and epidemiological research position at the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ms. Proud holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Aberdeen and an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. She is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Al Iannuzzi, Ph.D., is Vice President, Sustainability, at The Estée Lauder Companies, where he directs enterprise-wide sustainability efforts and executes the Company’s sustainability objectives. He oversees the publication of the Company’s Corporate Responsibility Report, ESG ratings and rankings, and climate and energy programs. He is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University, Purdue University. Prior to working at The Estée Lauder Companies, he worked for Johnson & Johnson, where Dr. Iannuzzi led Design for the Environment and Green Marketing programs and developed sustainability strategies for consumer products, medical devices, and pharmaceutical sectors. He served as the chief architect of the Earthwards® greener product development program. He has also worked as a regulator for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Dr. Iannuzzi has authored Greener Products: The Making & Marketing of Sustainable Brands (2018) and has written articles on sustainability and product stewardship.

Lynn Bergeson is Managing Partner of Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) and focuses on the law, science, and regulation of industrial chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act, agricultural chemicals under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, and comparable laws in the European Union, including the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, and especially how these regulatory programs pertain to nanotechnology, industrial biotechnology, synthetic biology, and other emerging transformative technologies. Ms. Bergeson counsels corporations, trade associations, and business consortia on a wide range of issues. Ms. Bergeson is President of the Board of Directors of the Product Stewardship Society, serves on the Board of the NanoBusiness Commercialization Association, the International Bar Association Agricultural Law Section, and other business and law organizations, and lectures and writes frequently on legal, regulatory, and science policy issues.
